Abstract:
An equalizer is provided in which a balance between mounting cost and reception quality is achieved in SC-MIMO transmission. The equalizer can connect with N reception antennas that receive single-carrier transmission signals transmitted from M transmission antennas in the same frequency band at the same time, and receives as input L signals sampled in a sampling cycle T from each of the N reception antennas. The equalizer comprises a first selection unit and a second selection unit. The first selection unit selects K signals from among the L signals for each of the N reception antennas as signals to multiply by a first tap coefficient. The second selection unit selects L-K signals to multiply by a second tap coefficient, from among the L signals obtained by multiplying and adding signals in the same sampling cycle for each of the N reception antennas by the tap coefficient.
