Abstract:
The present invention provides a system that allows an inexperienced worker to manage equipment efficiently. This equipment management system is provided with: an RFID (1) provided in each piece of equipment; an equipment position information storage unit (6); an equipment management data storage unit (8); an image information storage unit 7; a reader/writer (2); and a portable information terminal (3) that transmits and receives information to and from each of the storage units. The image information storage unit 7 has in-facility point group information and other items of image information. The equipment position information storage unit (6) has installation position information for equipment associated with the RFID (1), and also has a virtual tag that makes it possible to refer to equipment management data in the equipment management data storage unit (8) and corresponding to the equipment, and image information in the image information storage unit (7) and associated with the equipment associated with the RFID (1). The portable information terminal (3) has a confirmation information obtaining unit (3A) capable of obtaining information relating to a virtual tag (22) corresponding to the RFID (1) on the basis of information obtained from the RFID (1).
