Abstract:

Honeycomb structural body manufacturing equipment, comprising a molding machine, at least one support stand, and a cutter having a cutting wire and a cut-in member for honeycomb structural body, the support stand further comprising a means capable of moving the honeycomb structural body extruded from the molding machine in the longitudinal direction of the honeycomb structural body at the generally same speed as the extruded speed of the structural body, wherein the cutter moves the cutting wire to the honeycomb structural body side on a plane flush with the tensely installed surface of the wire, the cutting wire is positioned in a guide groove immediately after the guide groove is formed in the outer peripheral side face of the structural body by the cut-in member, and the cutting wire is press-fitted into the honeycomb structural body to cut off the honeycomb structural body.
