Abstract:
This invention provides an equipment for producing a hot dip galvanized steel
plate, comprising a hot dip galvanizing apparatus, a temper rolling machine,
an acidic solution contacting apparatus, and a cleaning apparatus which have
been installed consecutively. The acidic solution contacting apparatus and
the cleaning apparatus are provided while providing a space therebetween. Means
for controlling absolute humidity is provided in the space. An example of the
means for controlling the absolute humidity comprises a cover, which covers
the upper and lower surfaces and both sides of the steel plate and through which
the steel plate can be passed, spray means for spraying water vapor or dry air into
the cover, and means for measuring the temperature and relative humidity or measuring
the dew point. The equipment for producing a hot dip galvanized steel plate can
stably and reliably form a necessary oxide film on the surface of the hot dip galvanized
steel plate without sacrificing the appearance of the surface of the steel plate.
