Abstract:
The present invention provides an eraser that can be reduced in size and that can also completely erase a character displayed on the surface of a microcapsule magnetophoretic display sheet. An eraser for erasing a character or the like recorded on a writing surface, wherein the eraser is provided with a magnet disposed in an orientation in which magnetic force lines perpendicular to the writing surface are generated, and a magnetic body disposed between the magnet and the writing surface. A clearance can thereby be reduced, and the size of the eraser can be reduced. Furthermore, a character displayed on the surface of a microcapsule magnetophoretic display sheet can be completely erased.
