Abstract:
An ergo positioning pillow for versatile usage based on controlled air system comprises and works in the way it is described. A micro beads (1) provides the ideal contour of the head according to the posture of the user as well as softness, and an inflatable belly (2) contains the space for insufflation of air to attain the ideal height for the head. A cuff (3) with air release valve which is operated by hand for the inflation and deflation of air mechanically and a tube (4) is connected between the cuff (3) and the inflatable belly (2) providing the proper supply of air without pressure loss in the air. A stopper (5) is attached to avoid the accidental flow of air into the pillow herein additionally, a foot assisted inflating (6) for those who unable to operate the cuff (3).

CLAIMS:

1. An ergo positioning pillow for versatile usage based on controlled air system, said pillow comprising of:

A Micro beads ( l);

An Inflatable belly (2);

A cuff (3);

A tube unit (4);

A stopper (5);

A Foot assisted inflating component (6); and wherein, the micro beads (I) provides the ideal contour of the head according to the posture of the user as well as softness, and the inflatable belly (2) contains the space for insufflation of air to attain the ideal height for the head, wherein, the cuff (3) with air release valve which is operated by hand for the inflation and deflation of air mechanically and the tube (4) is connected between the cuff (3) and the inflatable belly (2) providing the proper supply of air without pressure loss in the air, wherein, the stopper (5) is attached to avoid the accidental flow of air into the pillow herein additionally, the foot assisted inflating (6) for those who unable to operate the cuff (3).

The Ergo positioning pillow for versatile usage based on controlled air system as claimed in claim I , wherein, the invention is economic, portable, light weight, real time change in head height to view of vocal cords, place for head extension, and is also useful for prone position during anaesthesia, for vocal cord surgeries, as a neck pillow during travelling and as cervical traction pillow.

FIELD OF INVENTION

The present invention generally relates to the pillow, particularly control over height varying pillow for comfortable usage. More particularly, the present invention relates height of pillow is most vital to provide the comfort to user, it is varied with the help of micro beads and other associated controls.

The present invention is registered as a design with design number - 319777-001 on 18 th July 2019, which is titled as “An intubation pillow” by a same first applicant (Dr. Lohith Basavaraju). OBJECTS OF INVENTION

One or more of the problems of the conventional prior art may be overcome by various embodiments of the system of present invention.

It is the primary object of the present invention is economic, portable, light weight, real time change in head height to view of vocal cords, place for head extension, and is also useful for prone position during anaesthesia, for vocal cord surgeries, as a neck pillow during travelling and as cervical traction pillow.

SUMMARY OF INVENTION

Thus, the aspect of a control over height varying pillow for comfortable usage, said pillow comprising of:

A Micro beads;

An Inflatable belly;

A cuff;

A tube unit;

A stopper; and

A Foot assisted inflating component; wherein, the micro beads (1) provides the ideal contour of the head according to the posture of the user as well as softness. The inflatable belly (2) contains the space for insufflation of air to attain the ideal height for the head. The cuff (3) with air release valve which is operated by hand for the inflation and deflation of air mechanically. The tube (4) is connected between the cuff (3) and the inflatable belly (2) providing the proper supply of air without pressure loss in the air. The stopper (5) is attached to avoid the accidental flow of air into the pillow. The additional feature is also provide herein, the foot assisted inflating (6) for those who unable to operate the cuff (3). The present invention as herein described relates to an ergo positioning pillow for versatile usage based on controlled air system.

The present embodiment relates to a shape and configuration of a control over height varying pillow for comfortable usage. The intubation position devise is a medical device for use in the operating suite, emergency department and also in ambulances. The device replaces the generally used fixed height pillows thus allowing variation of head height during laryngoscopy. This variation of head height may improve the views of the vocal cords. The intubation position devise is a combination of regular neck pillow and inflatable component combined to give real time head height adjustment. It is made up of micro beads, and inflatable belly, with a connected cuff for inflation and deflation of air. The foot assisted inflating component /electrical assisted inflating component. The intubation position devise is economic, portable, light weight, real time change in head height to view of vocal cords, place for head extension, and is also useful for prone position during anaesthesia, for vocal cord surgeries, as a neck pillow during travelling and as cervical traction pillow. The embodiment comprises of, a micro beads (1) which provides idea! contour for head according to the posture of the user, along with it provides the softness, for better comfort. So, the role of this component is pivotal with respect to the user, therein, user can’t be monitored or assisted often to keep your neck in this position so on and so forth. In addition while treating the patient’s for laryngoscopy, the position of head is most important during this time. The precision that is provided by the micro beads (1) is very fine tuned, that helps doctor and patient. So, the vision of vocal cords is better, which provides conducive environment for both the users. An inflatable belly (2) contains of a space for insufflation of air to attain the ideal height for the head to be positioned. Both the micro beads ( I) and the inflatable belly (2) is placed in the modified pillow, which exactly encompassing these 2 components. A cuff (3) is placed to regulate the air for both inflation as well as for deflation. It acts a reservoir to store the air along with comprises of air release valve. The cuff (3) is operated by hand, for initiating the inflation and deflation, process. A tube (4) is connected between the cuff (3) and the inflatable belly (2) providing the proper supply of air without pressure loss in the air. This proper pressure supply is essential for the prefect inflation of pillow by insufflation of air. A stopper (5) is attached to avoid the accidental flow of air into the pillow. The additional feature is also provide herein, a foot assisted inflating (6) for those who unable to operate the cuff (3). Herein, the foot is used to initiate the cuff (3) for inflation and deflation process. In control the inflation might be operated by the technologies including such as Artificial intelligence and or sensor to attain the ideal head height by inflation or deflation of air into pillow. In addition, whole pillow can be placed over the closed bag, to prevent from spoilage of pillow, easy to handle, and dust free. The embodiment can made out of breathable materials too for long hour usage preventing from sweating. The embodiment works in the way that the micro beads (I) provides the ideal contour of the head according to the posture of the user as well as softness.
