Abstract:
An error correction coding method and device. The method comprises: segmenting a first bit sequence on which error correction coding is to be performed (S202); respectively performing error check coding on some or all of the bit sequence segments (S204); forming a second bit sequence on which error correction coding is to be performed by using the bit sequence segments on which error check coding has been performed, and performing forward error correction coding on the second bit sequence on which error correction coding is to be performed, so as to generate a bit sequence to be sent (S206); and sending the bit sequence to be sent (S208). The method resolves the problem in the related art of inadequate error correction capability of error correction coding solutions, reduces the code rate of original code words, and can improve the coding performance.
