Abstract:
The present invention relates to an error detection IC comprising: a first interface unit for receiving a first signal for outputting a particular static image on a display device provided in a vehicle; a memory unit for storing data on one or more static images therein; a signal processing unit for selecting, on the basis of the first signal, the static image to be outputted on the display device from among the one or more static images, and outputting a second signal for outputting the selected static image on the display device; an image determination unit for providing a signal indicative of an error for the static image to a control unit of the vehicle, if it is determined, on the basis of the data stored in the memory unit, that an error exists in the data on the selected static image included in the second signal; and a second interface unit for providing the second signal to a display module.
