Abstract:
The purpose of the present invention is to provide an image surveillance system (10) that can monitor a wide area of an escalator (1). The image surveillance system (10) comprises a camera (12) and a reflector (11). The camera (12) faces a ceiling (3), which is above steps (5) of the escalator (1). The escalator (1) links an upper flow and a lower floor. The camera (12) is provided in the upper floor. The reflector (11) has a reflecting portion (15). The reflecting portion (15) performs reflection so as to diffuse incident light. The reflector (11) is supported on the ceiling (3) with the reflecting portion (15) facing downward such that the reflecting portion (15) appears in a captured image that is captured by the camera (12).
