Abstract:
The purpose of the invention is to improve the reliability of an ESD protection device having a plurality of discharge parts. An ESD protection device (1), provided with a plurality of input electrodes (21a-21d) and a plurality of output electrodes (21e-21h). The input electrodes (21a-21d) are arranged along a first direction. The output electrodes (21e-21h) are arranged along the first direction. The output electrodes (21e-21h) face the input electrodes (21a-21d) in another direction which is inclined with respect to the first direction. End parts of the input electrodes (21a-21d) along the other direction on the side toward the output electrodes (21e-21h), and end parts of the output electrodes (21e-21h) along the other direction on the side toward the input electrodes (21a-21d), constitute main discharge units (31a-31d). The input electrodes (21a-21d) include two input electrodes that are adjacent to each other along the first direction and that constitute secondary discharge units (51a-51c).
