Abstract:
Provided is an ESI sprayer 211 to be used by being mounted to a first hole 51 formed in a housing 50 of an ionization device and a second hole 52 formed at a distal end of the first hole 51, having an inner diameter smaller than that of the first hole 51, and having a distal end communicating to an ionization chamber 210, the ESI sprayer 211 including: a first pipe 11 having an outer diameter smaller than the inner diameter of the first hole 51; a second pipe 12 having an outer diameter smaller than the inner diameter of the second hole 52; a pipe connection jig 14 made of a conductive material and connecting an end surface of the first pipe 11 and an end surface of the second pipe 12 that are separated away from each other; and a pipe protective member 16 which is an extensible cylindrical body made of a conductive material and having an outer diameter smaller than the inner diameter of the first hole 51 and larger than the inner diameter of the second hole 52, the pipe protective member 16 having an end fixed to the pipe connection jig 14 and being disposed so as to cover at least a distal end of the second pipe 12.
