Abstract:
Provided is an estimating device that estimates a true value from observed data without deriving a state equation of a subject to be controlled. This estimating device includes a predicting unit and an updating unit. The predicting unit performs linear prediction on temporal data comprising observed values acquired from a sensor attached to the subject to be controlled, thereby calculating a pre-update estimation value pertaining to the state of the subject to be controlled. The updating unit uses the observed values acquired from the sensor and updates the pre-update estimation value. The predicting unit may calculate the pre-update estimation value using weighted linear prediction on the temporal data of the observed values.
