Abstract:
Provided is an estimation device 50 that estimates internal resistance of a battery BT1 for engine starting. The estimation device 50 includes a processing unit 70 that executes first estimation processing using a first estimation method based on a variation in current and a variation in voltage from the battery BT1 during cranking performed by an engine starting device 230 to estimate the internal resistance of the battery BT1 and second estimation processing using a second estimation method that is different from the first estimation method to estimate the internal resistance of the battery for a period from the cranking performed by the engine starting device 230 to the next cranking.
