Abstract:
The estimation device according to the present invention is provided with: a determination unit for determining a model function between the charging rate and the open-circuit voltage of a cell on the basis of the temperature detected by a detection unit for detecting the temperature of a chargeable cell or the temperature estimated by a temperature estimation unit for estimating the temperature of the chargeable cell, and a degradation amount estimated by a degradation amount estimation unit for estimating the amount of degradation of the cell; a calculation unit for estimating the charging rate and a predicted terminal voltage of the cell through use of a Kalman filter using the model function and calculating the difference between the predicted terminal voltage and the actual measured terminal voltage of the cell; and a correction unit for correcting the charging rate on the basis of the calculated difference and the Kalman gain of the Kalman filter.
