Abstract:
Disclosed is an ethyl alcohol detecting device comprising an ethyl alcohol detector that computes the content of ethyl alcohol corresponding to the concentration of ethyl alcohol based on a first object image stored in a memory and a reference image stored in a nonvolatile memory, a disturbing substance detector that computes the degree of disturbance corresponding to the concentration of the disturbing substance based on a second object image stored in the memory and the reference image stored in the nonvolatile memory, and a determination part that determines the detection of ethyl alcohol when the ethyl alcohol content is not less than a first predetermined threshold and the degree of disturbance is less than a second predetermined threshold; and determines non-detection of ethyl alcohol when the ethyl alcohol content is not less than the first predetermined threshold and the degree of disturbance is not less than the second predetermined threshold.
