Abstract:
An ethylene glycol composition, a preparation method therefor, and a polyester prepared from the ethylene glycol composition. Since the ethylene glycol composition has a specific content of propylene glycol, butanediol and hexanediol, polyesters obtained by polymerizing the ethylene glycol composition with dibasic acids such as terephthalic acid not only maintain excellent strength and heat resistance, but also have relatively low glass-transition temperatures and excellent toughness, so that the application range of polyesters can be greatly widened. The polyesters are particularly suitable for low-temperature dyeing fibers.
