Abstract:
The purpose of the present invention is to provide an EVOH, the melt-moldability of which is improved and which has excellent gas barrier properties and secondary moldability. The present invention relates to an ethylene-vinyl alcohol copolymer for which the ethylene content distribution curve measured by liquid chromatography comprises at least two peaks and the ethylene content (a) of the component exhibiting the highest peak (A), the ethylene content (b) of the component exhibiting the second highest peak (B), and the content ratio (v) and distribution of component (V) of a specified region (W) that has an ethylene content (w) are within specified ranges.
