Abstract:
This evacuation apparatus for elevators is equipped with a fascia plate (6) fixed to the interior of a hoistway. The fascia plate (6) faces the wall surface of the hoistway. The fascia plate (6) is provided with an escape ladder (7). Thus, if a car (2) stops between two vertically adjacent floors, occupants can quickly and reliably escape from a car (2) to a landing.
