Abstract:
In the present invention, the cause of wrinkles and the ease of reducing the wrinkles are evaluated. An evaluation apparatus according to an embodiment of the present invention comprises: a first evaluation unit that evaluates the ease with which the corrugator muscles of a user enter a state of involuntary contraction, on the basis of the difference between, or the rate of change between, the myoelectric potential of the corrugator muscles of the user that was measured when the user relaxed the facial muscles before knitting the brows once or more and the myoelectric potential of the corrugator muscles of the user that was measured when the user relaxed the facial muscles after knitting the brows once or more; and a second evaluation unit that evaluates the ease with which the corrugator muscles of the user gets rid of the state of involuntary contraction, on the basis of the difference between, or the rate of change between, the myoelectric potential of the corrugator muscles of the user that was obtained when the user lifted or laterally spread the corners of the mouth and the myoelectric potential of the corrugator muscles of the user that was obtained when the user did not lift or laterally spread the corners of the mouth.
