Abstract:
The present invention addresses the problem of increasing safety with regard to vehicle operation. An evaluation device according to the present technology is provided with: a communication unit that is capable of communicating with a vehicle; and a control unit that performs, on the basis of brain waves of a user detected by a brain-wave sensor, a state evaluation of the user regarding awareness about danger, and that transmits evaluation result information to the vehicle by means of the communication unit. Specifically, on the basis of brain waves of the user, who is assumed to be, for example, the vehicle driver, the state evaluation of the user is performed regarding his/her awareness about danger, such as whether or not the user is aware of danger, and the evaluation result information is transmitted to the vehicle.
