Abstract:
Provided are an evaluation device, an evaluation method, an evaluation program, and a computer-readable recording medium for recording the evaluation program, with which, for each page in an electronic book, the magnitudes of effects that cause users to be interested are evaluated with greater precision. A book server (100) first identifies a starting page and counts a viewing amount for each page. Then, weighting coefficients determined by a coefficient storage unit (2) are used to weight the viewing amounts that were counted for each page. For each of the five times that page 7 has been viewed, weightings of 1.6, 1.6, 0.9, 1.1 and 0.9 are set. Moreover, the total amount of the weighted viewing amounts for each page is calculated. The total amount of the viewing amounts for page 7 is calculated as 6.1 points.
