Abstract:
This evaluation system is for performing evaluation for a degree of rusting of a to-be-evaluated object by using a captured image of the to-be-evaluated object. The evaluation system is provided with: an image acquisition unit that acquires a captured image; a correction unit that corrects the captured image to generate an evaluation image; an evaluation unit that performs evaluation on the basis of the evaluation image; and an output unit that outputs an evaluation result by the evaluation unit. The correction unit extracts, from the captured image, an evaluation region that represents an image of a range having a predetermined area on a surface of the to-be-evaluated object, and generates the evaluation image on the basis of the evaluation region.
