Abstract:
This evaporated fuel treatment device may be provided with: a canister that communicates with a fuel tank via a tank channel, communicates with an air intake channel of an internal combustion engine via a purge channel, and communicates with the atmosphere via an atmosphere channel; a control valve that switches between a closed state of closing the purge channel and an open state of opening the purge channel; a pump that changes the pressure in a communication space defined by the fuel tank, the tank channel, the canister, the atmosphere channel, and the purge channel when the control valve is in the closed state; a pressure detection unit disposed in the communication space; and a determination unit that uses the pressure detection result of the pressure detection unit to determine that the evaporated fuel treatment device is not operating properly when the control valve is in the closed state and the pressure in the communication space has been changed by the pump.
