Abstract:
The evaporated fuel treatment device may be provided with: a canister; a control valve disposed on a purge passage, which provides communication between the canister and an intake passage, and switches between a closed state and an open state to close and open the purge passage; a pump disposed between the canister and the control valve; an acquisition unit for acquiring characteristic values relating to characteristics of the pump in a state in which the control valve is in the closed state and gas in a control-valve-side purge passage section is being pressurized by the pump; and an estimation unit for estimating, by using the acquired characteristic values, a flow rate of the gas sent out to the control-valve-side purge passage section by the pump when the control valve is in the open state.
