Abstract:
An evaporated fuel treatment device 12 comprises a canister 13 that adsorbs evaporated fuel produced in a fuel tank 3, a vapor passage 14 connecting the canister 13 and the fuel tank 3, an electrically operated sealing valve 15 capable of closing and opening the vapor passage 14 and configured so as to have a fixed operated position and be inoperable in both an opening direction and a closing direction at the point in time when a non-conduction state has been reached, and an auxiliary battery 71 that supplies power to the sealing valve 15. When voltage that can be supplied to the sealing valve 15 by the auxiliary battery is less than a prescribed value that is set higher than a lower limit value at which the sealing valve 15 can be driven, a fail-safe is performed to control the operation of the sealing valve 15 so as to achieve a closed state in which the vapor passage 14 is closed.
