Abstract:
The embodiments of the invention provide an event indication method and a mobile terminal. The method is applicable to a mobile terminal comprising at least one flash arranged at each of two or more separate surfaces of the mobile terminal. The method comprises: upon detecting a specific event, determining a screen orientation of the mobile terminal; associating, according to the orientation of the screen, a flash configured at the mobile terminal; and driving the flash to produce a blink. The embodiment is utilized to dynamically associate, according to the orientation of the screen, an appropriate flash to provide an indication, preventing a situation in which a fixed location flash is covered, ensuring an indication effect generated by flashes, and having wider applications.
