An excavator has an electric motor (71), an inverter (20C) connected to the electric motor, and an electricity storage device (120) connected to the inverter and including a capacitor (19). While driving of an engine (11) is being suspended, the voltage of the capacitor (19) is maintained higher than a second predetermined voltage value.
