Abstract:
An excavator shovel tooth has a wedge-shaped profile constituted by an end-face surface (6) and by two mutually-inclined surfaces (4, 5) one of which has a waved shape with at least two convex sections (8, 9) conjugating through a concave section (11). The profile of the waved surface (4) on its concave section (11) has the form of brachystochrone. The end-face surface (6) is provided, along the width of the tooth, with a recess (7).
