Abstract:
An excavator having tracked pontoons for silt clearance for environmental protection purposes. The excavator comprises a cabin (1) and an undercarriage (2), with the undercarriage having a tracked-pontoon structure; each pontoon is encircled with a chain on the outer sides thereof, with crawler treads being provided on the chain; an impeller (6) is provided on the inner side of each pontoon, which impeller is a hydraulic-motor driven propeller; legs (7) are provided on the outer side of each pontoon, said legs being hydraulic oil-cylinder controlled legs; the tail end of the whole machine is provided with a driving motor. The present excavator is able to float and navigate on water, and to operate on water and on land while providing good maneuverability and stability.
