Abstract:

An excavator according to an embodiment of the present invention has a lower traveling body (1), an upper turning body (3) that is mounted on the lower traveling body (1) so as to be able to turn, an operator cab (10) that is mounted to the upper turning body (3), an operation device (26) that is installed in the operator cab (10), an actuator that is driven by the operation device (26), and a controller (30) that can restrict the movement of the actuator. The controller (30) determines the necessity of restricting actuator movement depending on whether the operation device (26) is being operated by the operator.
