Abstract:
Provided is an exchangeable cutting head, which is not prone to chipping of engagement parts or increased cost, which prolongs the life of work tools and with which falling of the head body during exchange does not occur. A cutting edge section (3) is formed on the tip of a head body (1) and engagement parts (4) with which a work tool engages are formed on the base end side of the cutting edge section (3). An engagement surface (4A) is formed on the engagement parts (4). A coating film is coated on the surface of the head body (1). On the surface of the coating film on the engagement surface (4A), the number of microparticles or microprojections protruding with a size of 0.3 µm - 5.0 µm from the surface of the coating film in a 40 µm × 60 µm area is 200 or less.
