Abstract:
This excitation circuit comprises: a first operational amplifier that supplies a first excitation current to a first coil that forms a first flux gate; and a second operational amplifier that supplies a second excitation current to a second coil that forms a second flux gate. The excitation circuit further comprises a signal generation circuit that generates input signals for the first operational amplifier and the second operational amplifier. The signal generation circuit includes: a third operational amplifier that generates, as the input signal for the first operational amplifier, an inverted voltage or a non-inverted voltage on the basis of an alternating-current excitation voltage for exciting the pair of flux gates; and a fourth operational amplifier that generates, as the input signal for the second operational amplifier, an inverted voltage or a non-inverted voltage on the basis of the alternating-current excitation voltage.
