Abstract:
An excitation device 10 for applying vibration to at least one of a plurality of tires 12t of a vehicle 12 and exciting the vehicle, the excitation device 10 comprising: a first restricting part 16 for restricting the movement of the vehicle in the front-rear direction, the first restricting part 16 being positioned so as to be one of forward and rearward of at least one of the plurality of tires 12t; a second restricting part 20 for restricting the movement of the vehicle in the front-rear direction, the second restricting part 20 being positioned so as to be the other of forward and rearward of said one tire 12t; and an actuator 22 capable of driving at least one of the first restricting part and the second restricting part so that the separation distance between the first restricting part and the second restricting part in the front-rear direction of the vehicle increases and decreases.
