Abstract:
The exercise assistance device according to the present disclosure is provided with: a seat that is rockable; and a control unit that executes a first mode in which the seat rocks with a portion of the seat being raised while a user is seated straddling the seat, and a second mode in which the seat rocks while said portion of the seat is not raised or the height of the raised portion of the seat is lower than the height of the raised portion in the first mode while the user is not straddling the seat. When executing the first mode, the control unit causes said portion of the seat to be raised prior to rocking of the seat.
