Abstract:
This exercise shoe is provided with an inner covering material (1) that contacts the surface of a foot, and a loop-shaped wrap (W) that covers a portion of the inner covering material (1) and is formed from a material that is more difficult to stretch than the inner covering material (1). The wrap (W) is provided with: a heel section (W1) that contiguously covers the medial side (M), the back surface (B), and the lateral side (L) of the calcaneal bone (BC); a band-shaped and/or cord-shaped twisted section (W2) that extends to the front end of the heel section (W1) at the medial side (M) of the heel section (W1) and that proceeds to the bottom of the sole of the foot while twisting at the medial side (M) of the foot; a medial bottom (W3) that extends to the front end of the twisted section (W2) and that extends along the medial portion of the sole of the foot to the ball (O1) of the big toe under the sole of the foot; and a band-shaped and/or cord-shaped oblique transverse section (W4) that extends to the front end of the heel section (W1) at the lateral side (L) of the heel section (W1), covers at least a portion of the cuboid bone (BCu) and/or at least a portion of the tuberosity (B5f) of the fifth metatarsal bone (B5), and further extends across the top surface of the dorsum of the foot oriented obliquely towards the front, covering a portion of the top surface of the big toe and at least a portion of the lateral surface of the ball (O1) of the big toe.
