Abstract:

A first muffler (4) and a second muffler (5) communicated with each other through a connecting pipe (6) on the opposite side of a car body are disposed at the rear end portion of an exhaust pipe (2) so disposed as to extend from a single cylinder engine (1) to one of the sides of the rear portion of the car body, and the portions of these mufflers near their front end portions are covered from outside by plated first and second covers (7) and (8), respectively. The exhaust pipe (2) and the first and second mufflers (4) and (5) have a double pipe structure the outside of which is plated. The front end portion of the second cover (8) is bent towards the car body center so that an imaginary line drawn by extending continuously and forwardly this front end portion is positioned ahead of the axis of the connecting pipe (6) with respect to the front side of the car body.
