The present disclosure is directed to providing a configuration that makes it possible to perform early activation of an exhaust purifying catalyst in a more preferable manner in an internal combustion engine having a plurality of cylinders that is mounted on a saddle-ride vehicle. An exhaust device 46 for a saddle-ride vehicle 10 according to an embodiment is provided with: an exhaust purifying catalyst 54a which is disposed on the downstream side of a collective exhaust pipe 70 into which a plurality of exhaust pipes 68 respectively connected to exhaust ports 39c of respective cylinders are collected; and at least one communication pipe 76 that provides communication between at least two of the exhaust pipes on the upstream side of the collective exhaust pipe. Each of the plurality of the exhaust pipes extends from the corresponding exhaust port positioned over a crank shaft 35 of the internal combustion engine, and the catalyst 54a is disposed under the crank shaft and is disposed in a position overlapping the crank shaft of the internal combustion engine in the longitudinal direction of the vehicle.
