Abstract:
Provided is an exhaust gas processing facility wherein dusts in exhaust gas from a furnace for producing molten metal are separated and collected to thereby enhance utilization of dusts, and control of internal pressure of the furnace for producing molten metal or composition of exhaust gas is facilitated. An exhaust gas processing facility (1) is equipped with an exhaust gas duct (2) which extends from the exhaust gas outlet (21) of a furnace (20) for producing molten metal and discharging high temperature exhaust gas containing dusts to a stack (12) for discharging the exhaust gas after dusts are removed therefrom to the atmosphere. A dust collecting section and a suction fan (5) are provided in the exhaust gas duct (2). The dust collecting section comprises a wet dust collector (3) provided in the exhaust gas duct (2) on the side of the furnace (20) for producing molten metal in order to collect rough grain dusts, and a dry dust collector (4) provided closer to the suction fan (5) side than the wet dust collector (3) in order to collect fine grain dusts in the fume system.
