Abstract:
The exhaust gas purging composition according to the present invention comprises Y-Mn-O and Al2O3, and satisfies formula 1 and formula 2. Formula 1: SSA retention rate (%)>-61.54×(Y-Mn-O proportion)+75.55. Formula 2: SSA retention rate (%)>45. In formula 1 and formula 2, the SSA retention rate is represented by "post-endurance specific surface area/initial specific surface area×100(%)" (for the definitions of the respective specific surface areas, see the description). The Y-Mn-O proportion denotes the mass proportion (Y-Mn-O/(Y-Mn-O+Al2O3)) of Y-Mn-O with respect to the total mass of Y-Mn-O and Al2O3 in the exhaust gas purging composition.
