Abstract:
Disclosed is an exhaust gas purification device characterized by the provision of: a first soot accumulation amount computation means (49) that uses the driving state of the engine to compute a soot accumulation amount; a second soot accumulation amount computation means (51) that computes a soot accumulation amount from information such as the cumulative amount of time the engine has been running, the cumulative fuel consumption, and the difference between the pressure in front of a particulate filter and the pressure behind; a first soot accumulation amount correction means (55) that performs an upwards correction on the soot accumulation amount computed by the first soot accumulation amount computation means when it is determined from the value computed by the second soot accumulation amount computation means (51) that forced regeneration has started; and a forced-regeneration stopping means (57) that starts regeneration on the basis of the corrected soot accumulation amount and stops forced regeneration when the corrected soot accumulation amount has dropped below a regeneration stopping threshold.
