Provided is an exhaust gas purification device capable of reducing costs by way of reducing the amount of material (volume and weight) of the exhaust gas purification device overall. An exhaust gas purification device (13), for reducing and removing air polluting substances in the exhaust gas (14) discharged from a main ship engine (12), comprises: an exhaust line (18) that is joined to the main ship engine (12) and that is for discharging, into the air, exhaust gas (14) discharged from the main ship engine (12); a circulation line (24) that is provided so as to branch from the exhaust line (18) and that is for resupplying a portion of the exhaust gas (14) in the exhaust line (18) to the main ship engine (12); an exhaust scrubber (21) that is provided in the exhaust line (18) and that is for purifying the exhaust gas (14) to be discharged into the air; and a circulation scrubber (26) that is provided in the circulation line (24) and that is for purifying the exhaust gas (14) resupplied to the main ship engine (12).
