The objective of the present invention is to provide an exhaust gas purification device that has been reduced to a transportable size, and for which the time required for on-site assembly and installation is reduced significantly, thereby minimizing the construction period. This exhaust gas purification device (1) is characterized by being equipped with: a combustion chamber (10) provided with a burner; first and second heat storage chambers (11, 12) arranged in parallel and separated from each other, with one end of each storage chamber connected to a side surface of the combustion chamber; heat storage bodies arranged within each heat storage chamber; a first connecting duct (15) connected to the other end of the first heat storage chamber (11); a second connecting duct (16) connected to the other end of the second heat storage chamber (12); a supply duct (17) that supplies unprocessed gas; an exhaust duct (18) that exhausts processed gas; a changeover valve (20), which is connected to the first connecting duct, the second connecting duct, the supply duct, and the exhaust duct, and which can be switched selectively between a first state, wherein the first connecting duct is connected to the supply duct and the second connecting duct is connected to the exhaust duct, and a second state, wherein the second connecting duct is connected to the supply duct and the first connecting duct is connected to the exhaust duct; and a cooling fan (21) that blows a gas through the space between the first and second heat storage chambers.
