Abstract:
Provided is an exhaust gas purification filter which can achieve both high trapping efficiency of particulate matter and low pressure loss.
Specifically provided is an exhaust gas purification filter provided with an inflow surface from which exhaust gas containing particulate matter flows in, a discharge surface from which purified gas is discharged, and a filter base body which is formed by a porous body. Said exhaust gas purification filter is characterized in that the filter base body has porous partition walls and gas flow paths surrounded by the partition walls, a porous film having a pore diameter smaller than that of pores of the partition walls is provided on the surfaces of the partition walls, and microgrooves having a depth shallower than the thickness of the porous film are formed in at least part of the surface of the porous film.
