Abstract:

The present invention provides an exhaust gas purification filter (1) disposed in an exhaust channel of a gasoline engine. The exhaust gas purification filter (1) has a partition (11) having a large number of pores (110), a plurality of cells (12) sectioned by the partition (11), and a sealing part (13) for alternately sealing the plurality of cells (12) at both end parts of the filter. In the exhaust gas purification filter (1), the average pore diameter of the partition (11) is over 16 μm to below 21 μm, and the ratio of the average surface pore diameter of the pores (110) at the surface of the partition (11) relative to the average pore diameter of the partition (11) is 0.66 to 0.94 inclusive.
