Abstract:

[PROBLEMS] To provide an exhaust gas purifier suitable for a construction machine equipped with an engine-driven hydraulic pump. [MEANS FOR SOLVING PROBLEMS] An exhaust gas purifier for construction machine, comprising an exhaust gas control means provided for a hydraulic shovel and purifying nitrogen oxides in exhaust gas from an engine, a urea water tank for storing urea water supplied to the exhaust gas control means, and a means for detecting the residual quantity of urea water stored in the urea water tank, is further provided with an alarm lamp which is lighted when the residual quantity of urea water decreases to a first predetermined quantity A, and a device provided for a controller and relating to the operation of a hydraulic actuator, e.g. a pump suction torque control means or a means of limiting the number of revolutions of an engine for performing control to decrease the pump suction torque or the maximum number of revolutions of the engine to a predetermined value within such a range that the hydraulic actuator included in a hydraulic drive circuit can be operated, as the residual quantity of urea water decreases from the first predetermined quantity A.
