Abstract:
This exhaust gas purifying catalyst 100 is provided with: a substrate 10 having a wall-flow structure, which has an entrance-side cell 12, an exit-side cell 14 and a porous partition wall 16; a first catalyst layer 20 which is formed inside the partition wall 16 and has a thickness T1 that is from 40% to 60% (inclusive) of the total thickness Tw of the partition wall 16; and a second catalyst layer 30 which is formed inside the partition wall 16 throughout the thickness direction of the partition wall 16.
