Abstract:
[Problem] To provide an exhaust gas sensor having excellent thermal shock resistance. [Solution] An exhaust gas sensor (1) is provided with a solid electrolyte layer (10), a first electrode (11), a second electrode (12), and a diffusion resistance layer (13). The first electrode (11) is provided on one principal face of the solid electrolyte layer (10). The second electrode (12) is provided on another principal face of the solid electrolyte layer (10). The diffusion resistance layer (13) is provided on the one principal face of the solid electrolyte layer (10) so as to cover the first electrode (11). The diffusion resistance layer (13) comprises a porous material. The diffusion resistance layer (13) includes glass and an inorganic filler. The content ratio of the glass in the diffusion resistance layer (13) is 50 vol% or less.
