Abstract:
An exhaust gas treatment system provided with: a wet desulfurization unit 13 for removing sulfur oxides in exhaust gas 12A from a boiler 11; a mist collection/aggregation unit 14, which is provided on the downstream side of the desulfurization unit 13 and is for binding SO3 mist contained in exhaust gas 12B from the wet desulfurization unit 13 to each other to enlarge the particle diameter and form aggregated SO3 mist; a CO2 recovery unit 18 obtained from a CO2 absorption column 16, which has a CO2-absorbing section 16A for removing CO2 contained in exhaust gas 12D by bringing same into contact with a CO2-absorbing liquid, and an absorbing liquid-regenerating column 17 for releasing CO2 from said CO2-absorbing liquid that has absorbed CO2 to recover the CO2 and regenerate the CO2-absorbing liquid; and a mist collection section 16C for collecting the CO2-absorbing liquid-enlarged mist in which the aggregated SO3 mist has been enlarged by the absorption of CO2-absorbing liquid inside the CO2-absorbing section 16A.
