Abstract:
The present invention relates to an exhaust hood capable of using a transparent barrier by means of reducing the temperature of hot air, wherein the exhaust hood comprises: a transparent barrier formed above a heating apparatus so as to cover the perimeter above the heating apparatus, and having the entire area at the bottom thereof open and that at the top thereof sealed; an exhaust chamber configured as a structure that narrows progressively from the bottom toward the top thereof, has an open bottom, and is connected to the upper portion of the transparent barrier; a mixing chamber communicating with the upper portion of the exhaust chamber, and having an exhaust hole defined in one side thereof and an air inlet and suction hole separated from each other by a certain distance defined in the other side of the mixing chamber; a suction tube connected to the suction hole of the mixing chamber; and suctioning means connected between an external exhaust tube and the suction tube, for suctioning hot air that has been lowered in temperature due to the mixing of outside air and hot air that enter the mixing chamber through the air inlet and the exhaust hole, and discharging the hot air through the suction tube and external exhaust tube to the outside. By enclosing the space above a gas range, the exhaust hood can exhaust virtually all odors, smoke, etc. and also cool air that is heated in an enclosed space and exhaust the cooled air to the outside, so that the gas range can be used safely.
