Abstract:
This exhaust purification system is provided with: a NOx storage reduction catalyst 32, disposed in an exhaust system of an internal combustion engine 10 mounted in a vehicle 1, that stores NOx in exhaust in a lean-exhaust state and stores and reduces and removes the stored NOx in a rich-exhaust state; accelerating travel acquisition units 42, 47 that acquire information as to whether the vehicle 1 is in an accelerating travel state; and a control unit 60 that executes catalyst regeneration processing to reduce and remove NOx stored in the NOx storage reduction catalyst 32 by putting the exhaust in a rich state when the accelerating travel state of the vehicle 1 has been acquired.
